The Virginia Association of Centers for Independent Living is pleased to present a virtual conference to commemorate the 30th Anniversary of the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act and to also celebrate the 35th Anniversary of the passing of the Virginians with Disabilities Act. Throughout the day, you will hear personal testimonies as well as advocacy efforts and needs that remain despite these two monumental laws being 30 and 35 years old. The day will end with a celebration of how far we have come in creating independence for individuals with disabilities and moreover, the work that is yet to be done.
