The VAIL Harrisonburg Cardinals is a nationally-ranked wheelchair basketball team. The team participates competes in the National Wheelchair Basketball Association in Division III.
The team offers an opportunity in the area with permanent lower limb disabilities or spinal cord injury to have a competitive, recreational outlet. This program is a joint effort between VAIL and the Mid-Atlantic Wheelchair Athletic Association.
The team practices each Thursday at Horizon’s Edge Sports Campus.
